Cranberry Wilderness
The Cranberry Wilderness is a 47,815-acre (19,350 ha) U.S. wilderness area in the Monongahela National Forest of southeast West Virginia, United States. Its name derives from the nearby Cranberry Glades as well as from the Cranberry River and Cranberry Mountain. In addition to being wilderness, it is a designated black bear sanctuary.

Middle Fork Trail
Follows the Middle Fork of the Williams River through the northern Cranberry Wilderness, with cascading streams, small waterfalls and moss-covered spruce woods. A central leg of the classic backpacking loop.
North-South Trail
The main spine of the Cranberry Wilderness and backbone of the classic backpacking loop, running the high plateau through red spruce and northern hardwoods. Rough, unblazed and often muddy; GPS recommended.
Forks of Cranberry Trail
A ridgetop trail dropping from the Highland Scenic Highway westward into the Cranberry Wilderness to the South Fork of the Cranberry River, one of the main eastern gateways into the backcountry.
North Fork Trail
Follows an old forest roadbed down the North Fork of the Cranberry River to the North Fork Shelter, passing streamside campsites and native brook-trout water. A key leg of the wilderness's longer loops.
